Grandpa & Grandma Dahle's

These pictures were taken at Ryan's Grandparents house in Montague, Texas. The boys love it out there. There is a lot of open space for them to run and it's gorgeous. Best thing of all there is a trampoline for Jaxon to jump on instead of using my furniture as a trampoline.
Happy Summer Everyone!!!

Beware: Lots of Pictures!

So, we've had a whole lotta nothin' going on here at the Dahle household. . . hence the lack of posts. Sorry, I just don't how many of you really want to know how many times I have cleaned up Jaxon's poop after he uses it as fingerpaints, and Logan constantly wanting to take his diaper off and pee on the floor. Here are some pictures of the boys within the last month and a half.

I sometimes wonder what goes through Little Logan's head.

Snack time!

He truely is my monkey man.

Sorry about how Jaxon looks in this picture. I noticed I never put any pictures of me up and this is the most recent one I have.

Give Little Logan a tube of almost gone toothpaste and he will be entertained for hours.

"Pirate, arg." Jaxon lovees pirates. Ryan and I have been teaching him how to say his prayers and he sneeks a few "pirates" in there whe he says them.

Jaxon decided for Mother's Day to color my fireplace guard with Ryan's deodorant.

I love this picture.

Ryan and I in April.

Brotherly Love.

"Look Momma, Logan is sleeping".

I LOVE being a mommy. I make jokes about how my kids drive me nuts at times, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have learned so much about myself being a mom to these cute and precious little boys. Being a mommy is such a blessing!

Thanks to everyone for keeping up on your blogs. It has been so much fun to see how great everyone is doing. Keep'em commin'!!

Playing Catch Up.

It has been awhile since I last posted anything. I have had good intentions, but by the end of the day I am tired and just want to look at everyone's blog and see what new things are happening in ya'll's world.

We had a great holiday season here at the Dahle household. Ryan, the boys and I for Family Home Evening took treat plates around to people in our home ward here. We had a lot of fun. My first thanks of the season goes to our navigation system. Without that the evening would have really been difficult. It took us about 3 hours to get around to everyone. The boys did so well at tolerating mom's idea of starting a new tradition.

Michelle (my sister that lives in Bedford, Tx) and Ryan put up Christmas lights on our house later that week. That is my second thanks of the season. I am so lucky and grateful to have a sister that lives so close by. My two boys LOVE her. She is so great with them and we absolutely enjoy her company. Getting back to the lights. Ryan and Michelle did a fantastic job with the lights. Jaxon loved going outside and watching them put everything up. After they were all done, we were still no competition for our neighbors across the street. It literally looked at though Christmas had exploded in their yards. Even better yet, two of the houses had music blow up figurines that played Christmas music and no they never turned if off until the morning. Ryan and I would lay in bed at night and hear the music serenading us to sleep.

Christmas Eve day Ryan surprised me with my first Christmas gift, a Christmas tree. And if you know me well, that was big deal. We had discussed all month that we would wait till next year to get a Christmas tree, because we were afraid that the boys would destroy it. But Ryan got it anyway. It was exactly what I wanted. We set the tree up, got the kids bathed and watch the Nativity movie.

Christmas morning was so much fun to watch. Jaxon actually got the whole idea of presents and saw the tree and went "ho, ho , ho." It was so cute. Logan got the hang of ripping into presents and shredding the wrapping paper. Later on the day we went over to Ryan's grandparents house and had Christmas dinner. I love spending the holidays with family. And I am very lucky to have married into such a great family. After dinner, the four of drove down to Bedford to see Michelle and spend some time with her. All in all, I feel extremely blessed to have the life that Heavenly Father has blessed me with.

I look forward to this season every year. I was telling Ryan a couple of weeks ago, that I enjoy the weeks leading up to this holiday a lot more than the actually days themselves. I believe that during this wonderful time of year, Heavenly Father pours out more of his love and blessings during this time, whether they come through forms of our friends, family or answered prayers. I enjoy the love and the spirit of service that seems to exude from everyone around you. The Christmas spirit know no boundaries. Heavenly Father blesses us with an ounce of heavenly peace and love here on earth during this time. A time that is hopefully spent loving those around you, being grateful for what you have and hoping the next year to be filled with more joy than the last.

From the Dahle family, may your New Year be filled with possibilities and happiness.

Utah baby!

Ryan and I left Thursday afternoon from Whitesboro, Texas at 2:30 in the afternoon. Dumb me, I thought that we would be able to get to at least Albuquerque, N.M. before we would have to stop for the night. That didn't happen. We stopped and ate dinner in Amarillo and an hour and a half later our little drama queen (a.k.a Jaxon) started to scream in his sleep trying desperately to muscle his way out of his car seat. We made it 7 hours of our 20 hour drive. Ahhh . . . the joys of traveling with little children. Now by this time we have gained an hour crossing into Mountain Time and our lovely children woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 5 bells. Mind you, I was the lucky one to sleep with Jaxon who can't sleep in one spot if his life depended on it. Sleeping was a joke. Thankfully, I woke up at 5 and feeling pretty good. Heavenly Father is extremely merciful on parents, because Jaxon and Logan were angels for the next 14 hours of our journey. Now we are in Utah and loving it. It's a tad bit cold, but I have mountain and people that actually enunciate their words.

Ryan and I were able to meet up with my friends Stacey and Krista for dinner in West Jordan. It took me longer than planned. I am seriously directionally challenged. But we both got there and I had a delightful time talking with them. They are such good people. Stacey and Adam are going to make such wonderful parents. They are so happy with each other. Krista is the same, but older. She always had a more mature attitude growing up. Krista seem really happy too. It so great to watch those in your life, who may not have had the easiest time earlier on be truly happy. They are great and wonderful people and I am lucky to call them friends.

I will post more later on. I am in Utah for the next week. I will hopefully take a lot of pictures and post them with updates. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Jaxon and the Kittens

This is a video of Jaxon and our kittens that magically disappeared after the hay in our backyard was bailed. In the background you will see the cat house that Ryan built. It has insulated walls, floor and roof. It has a cat walk and a porch. And to top it all off the roof is removable. Yes, Ryan is quite proud of his creation.

The new kids on the block!

This is my first attempt in the blogging world. Ryan and I live far enough away that hopefully this will help us (mainly me) keep in contact with friends and family.

So as a intro to catch people up to speed. Ryan and I have been married since Nov. '05. We have two cute and comical boys, Jaxon who is 2 and Logan who is 1. They keep us very busy. We live in our home here in Whitesboro, Texas. It's a town of about 4,000 people and is 1 hour from the metroplex of Fort Worth and Dallas. Ryan works in the oil field. We own a trucking company that hauls oil. Not a glamerous job, but I am able to stay home with our two little boys. Ryan and I are currently getting our degrees here from a local university. He is getting his bachelors Political Science and I am working towards my bachelors in nursing. Hopefully, one day we can be grown ups. We are crossing our fingers. That's about it in a nut shell so far. We hope everyone is safe and doing well.
